Alan Bigelow
Alan comes with a hands-on, bottom-up approach to the real estate industry. He is president of the Illinois Real Estate Academy, a real estate licensing company and management-consulting firm. Alan has more than 36 years of experience in sales, mergers and acquisitions and currently serves as Co-Manager and trainer for Coldwell Banker’s Chicagoland Southwest Regional offices consisting of 300 plus Sales Associates. Additionally, he presents a wide variety of sales and management topics for the national and international real estate industry.
Alan has served as an instructor and real estate coordinator at several colleges for pre-licensing classes for more than 15 years and has taught for the State of Illinois GRI programs. Alan is a Master Instructor for the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers, has chaired numerous committees, and has served in the leadership capacities of Finance Vice President and President of the Council, and Chairman of the former REALTORS® National Marketing Institute.
Alan holds a BA degree in Finance and is a lifelong resident of Illinois.
