Prior to joining the Arizona Association of REALTORS as a curriculum specialist and trainer in 2011, held the position of Director of Professional Development for HomeSmart International in March, 2010, and responsible for maintaining and creating ongoing education programs for over 3500 REALTORS® employed within the company in Arizona. A licensed REALTOR® since 1976, arrived in Phoenix from Chicago, Illinois in 1981 Prior to joining HomeSmart, I was with Realty Executives Relocation & Referral Services, for 15 years, joining them as a start up company and working my way up to President and Designated Broker. Prior to that, was an active sales person and manager for several other local companies. Active in community and industry service, served as the Chair of the AAR's Professional Development Committee 2005 through 2007 and again in 2009, and has served as a state director and Executive Committee Member. Approved instructor for continuing education for ADRE and AAR, in July, 2008 completed training to become an NAR certified instructor for the "Employer Assisted Housing" and "At Home With Diversity" Programs. Obtained my CRB in 2009.
Local chapter president of the Scottsdale Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors™, in 1990, State President in 1993 and National Governor for Arizona in 1994 and 1995, and received AZ State WCR Realtor® of the Year in 1998, and NAR  Omega Tau Rho. Was a founding member and served as the President of the Arizona Relocation Alliance - 3/04 through 3/08 - (regional group of the Employee Relocation Council), hold a CRP (Certified Relocation Professional) Designation from ERC.
