Melanie McLane
Melanie McLane is a practicing appraiser, broker and educator. With over 34 years in the business, she has vast experience in all aspects of real estate. She devotes most of her time to teaching, writing and consulting with real estate companies, but keeps both her licenses active and continues to list, sell and appraise, in order to keep her thumb on the market. A graduate of Kenyon College, she has the following designations: ABR, BPOR, CRB, CRS, ePRO, GREEN, GRI, RAA, RSPS, SRES and SRS. She is a AQB certified USPAP Instructor, and teaches many REBAC courses, from ABR to RSPS. In 2008, she was inducted into the REBAC Hall of Fame as a REBAC Instructor. She has held the CRB designation since the 1980’s, and has been active in management, training, owning and running a real estate company all of her career. She is approved to teach in many states, and has appeared at the Triple Play Convention, the NAR Convention, and a variety of state conventions, as well as other venues.
