Q: Do I need to have my broker's license to pursue the designation?

A: You do not need to hold your broker's license to obtain the CRB designation.

Q: How many years of management experience do I need to earn my CRB designation?

A: You need a minimum of one (1) year of management experience prior to designation. You may enroll as a Candidate with less than one year of management experience.   

Q: If I am a Team Leader and manage other agents and assistants, does this experience qualify toward management experience?

A: Yes, if you manage others, including assistants, this qualifies as management experience.

Q: Will I have to take CRB Courses to earn the designation?

A: Yes, depending on the number of years of management experience you have you will be required to take two or three CRB Courses. Individuals with 1-5 years of Management Experience are required to take three Courses. Individuals with 6+ years of Management Experience are required to take two Courses.  

Q: How long do I have to complete the CRB Designation Program? 

A: A Candidate must complete the Designation Program in four years.
