2006 Hall of Leaders Inductee Announced

Richard A. Mendenhall, CCIM, CIPS, CRB

Richard A. Mendenhall, CCIM, CIPS, CRB, GRI of Columbia, Mo. has been selected as this year's Hall of Leaders inductee. Mendenhall joins the prestigious group of industry leaders before him, serving the real estate industry both locally and internationally. He has held numerous volunteer roles throughout his career, including 2001 president for the National Association of REALTORS®. He has also worked with the Chinese Real Estate Association, FIABCI International, The Landrum Company (Midwest Bank Holding Company), Missouri Employers Mutual Insurance, RE/MAX International, SECOVI of Brazil, and hundreds of local and state REALTOR® associations nationwide.

Mendenhall is the owner of two real estate offices in central Missouri with more than 170 agents and staff, specializing in single-family and commercial brokerage. He has been a REALTOR® since 1974, and is the fifth generation of his family in real estate since 1894. A second-generation CRB, both of his parents hold the designation, with his father being among the first 117 individuals to receive the CRB in November of 1968. Most recently, his daughter Elizabeth also became a CRB Designee.
