Generally, those who enter real estate must be gregarious and accommodating. And to achieve success, an agent must meet many individuals each day. The majority of these interactions will be positive. Unsafe interactions are not uncommon, however. Janice Flasschoen, a Florida agent and the victim of an attack, summarizes the real estate professional's conundrum, "It's a dangerous occupation. You never know who you're going to meet."
