Resolve to Think Big in 2007
Ginny Shipe, CAE
CEO, Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers
With the dawning of a new year, we're sure to hear the same cliché resolutions over and over again: "This year I'm going to exercise more," "I'm going to lose weight," "I'm going to quit smoking." Often, these resolutions don't stick, because they either require a lifestyle overhaul or are simply too cumbersome.
An unknown author once wrote, "Many people look forward to the new year for a new start on old habits." As you begin your new year, think about starting small and resolving to change those old habits for good. Whether you're determined to create better communication channels with your agents and staff, or you're interested in exploring business opportunities in emerging markets, the key to successful change is to start small but think big.
