At the recent National Association of Realtors® conference, text marketing was hailed as the best new way to identify potential buyers, collect their personal information and communicate with them as they make their home-buying decisions.

Realtors® have traditionally tended to invest big bucks in technology, especially methods that helped them better reach their customers. But today, they’re rethinking their investment in things like costly and time-consuming Web sites and maintenance because fewer and fewer leads are coming from their own Web sites.
